BMSSWOCOME2020 consensus meeting will be held in Amsterdam on April 16th, 17th & 18th in collaboration with IFSO. This consensus meeting will be on “standardization of management of complications after bariatric metabolic procedures”.

Mohak Bariatrics and Robotics, Indore, India is organizing the 2nd World Bariatric Consensus Meeting on Bariatric Surgery Complications that will be co-chaired by Dr. Mohit Bhandari and Dr. Mathias Fobi.

The 1st Bariatric Metabolic Surgery Standardization World Consensus Meeting (BMSSWOCOME) was held in Delhi, India in March 2018. It received fabulous response from the bariatric fraternity, and also helped in standardization of the bariatric and metabolic surgery procedures. This year, BMSSWOCOME2020 consensus meeting will be held in Amsterdam on April 17th & 18th in collaboration with IFSO.

Mohak Bariatrics, Robotics and Diabetic Surgery Centre is a high volume bariatric surgery center where various bariatric procedures including sleeve gastrectomy, gastric bypass, one anastomosis gastric bypass, banded sleeve gastrectomy, banded gastric bypass, banded one anastomosis gastric bypass, endoscopic sleeve gastroplasty and bariatric revision surgeries are performed. IFSO is a Federation composed of over 64 national associations of bariatric surgeons and integrated health professionals. This consensus meeting will be on “standardization of management of complications after bariatric metabolic procedures”. Eighty world renowned experts in bariatric metabolic surgery representing 41 countries will participate in this meeting. A joint consensus statement from BMSSWOCOME and IFSO will be written and published timely. This consensus meeting is unique in a way that it will cover procedures done in various parts of the world unlike other national consensus meetings that only cover procedures done in a particular country. This meeting is endorsed by many national societies.
