Fantastisch gebouw uit de 17e eeuw. verborgen in een dure winkelstraat.
Altijd formidabele tentoonstellingen , wereldklasse
Summer Exhibition was out of this world! Visited on the last day before closing, and the buzz was real. Highly recommend going every year, I know I'll make it a regular on our calendar. Facilities at the RA are well equipped, clean and presentable. Cafe looked nice especially in the courtyard. As well as pleasant toilets. Vertaald door Google Zomertentoonstelling was niet van deze wereld! Bezocht op de laatste dag voor sluitingstijd, en de drukte was echt. Beveel ten zeerste aan om elk jaar te gaan, ik weet dat ik het een vaste waarde in onze kalender zal maken. De faciliteiten van de RA zijn goed uitgerust, schoon en representatief. Cafe zag er leuk uit, vooral op de binnenplaats. Evenals prettige toiletten.
Summer exhibition this was absolutely stunning, well curated, clearly a labor of love and there was such a good spread of art. The band playing and free drinks were a really nice touch. It's an interesting space to visit even when there isn't a special exhibition, this is my second visit and the first was also wonderful. Vertaald door Google Zomertentoonstelling dit was absoluut adembenemend, goed samengesteld, duidelijk een liefdeswerk en er was zo'n goede verspreiding van kunst. De band die speelde en gratis drankjes waren echt een leuke touch. Het is een interessante ruimte om te bezoeken, zelfs als er geen speciale tentoonstelling is, dit is mijn tweede bezoek en de eerste was ook geweldig.
ROYAL ACADEMY OF ARTS. It's was a wonderful and unique experience to witness the summer exhibition. It was superb. Summer Exhibition was out of this world! and the buzz was real. ROYAL ACADEMY OF ARTS IS HIGH NOTCH FOR ANY ARTIST OR LOVER TO VISIT. AM IN LOVE WITH THE PLACE. I CAN NEVER FORGET MY EXPERIENCE. BEN VERLIEFD OP DE PLAATS. IK KAN MIJN ERVARING NOOIT VERGETEN. EN BEN ZO OPGEWELD
What a marvellous building and space. Went to see Francis Bacon and was blown away by how it had been curated. 9 Galleries which you are expertly walked round by the Guide book. Wonderful chandeliers too! You still have to book slot times but it was busy nonetheless. Vertaald door Google Wat een prachtig gebouw en ruimte. Ging naar Francis Bacon en werd overweldigd door hoe het was samengesteld. 9 Galleries waar je vakkundig rond wordt gelopen door de Gids. Prachtige kroonluchters ook! Je moet nog slottijden boeken, maar het was toch druk.
I have seen some amazing exhibitions at the Royal Academy of the Arts, Including Tracey Emin/ Edvard Munch and Francis Bacon, Man and Beast. Both breathtaking curated exhibitions, which were worth every penny for a ticket. Rich for its history, The RA is an amazing place for anyone to spend day and immerse themselves in the art on offer. Lovely Cafes, gift shop and free lockers provided to store belongings. Accommodating for all and fantastic staff, cannot recommend enough. Went to see the Francis Bacon: Man and Beast exhibition in March 2022 the venue is easy to get to from Piccadilly Circus tube station. The places is nice and well staffed, the exhibition we saw was well curated but quite expensive about £25 a ticket, it was incredibly busy despite being after 4pm on a Saturday afternoon. However it was worth seeing and given the lists involved in obtaining art from across the world, some pieces had to be in chilled cases, makes the cost understandable. Gift shop was the right. I’m of education and fun. Vertaald door Google Ging naar de tentoonstelling Francis Bacon: Man and Beast in maart 2022. De locatie is gemakkelijk te bereiken vanaf het metrostation Piccadilly Circus. De plaatsen zijn mooi en goed bemand, de tentoonstelling die we zagen was goed samengesteld, maar vrij duur ongeveer 25 per kaartje, het was ongelooflijk druk ondanks dat het na 16.00 uur op een zaterdagmiddag was. Het was echter de moeite waard om te zien en gezien de lijsten die betrokken zijn bij het verkrijgen van kunst van over de hele wereld, moesten sommige stukken in gekoelde kisten zitten, maakt de kosten begrijpelijk. Cadeauwinkel had gelijk. Ik ben van onderwijs en plezier.
Wonderful welcoming warm staff apart from the lady in the cloakroom grumpily complaining that people kept coughing on her!. Fabulous exhibition of William Kentridge today. Pricey ticket, but so much bang for your buck. Worth every penny. Utterly loved it - well done RA! Had to drag myself away from the Kyosai exhibition - fantastic to see so many works that haven't seen the light for many years. Also, most are large scale works, and sensitively set out in the spacious galleries. Worth the trip to London for. Vertaald door Google Moest mezelf wegslepen van de Kyosai-tentoonstelling - fantastisch om zoveel werken te zien die al jaren het licht niet hebben gezien. Ook zijn de meeste werken op grote schaal en gevoelig uiteengezet in de ruime galerijen. De reis waard naar Londen voor.
