Geschiedenis

Our foundation aims to support the community based organisation New Hope School for the Deaf in Uganda. The mission of the school is to offer primary education according to the needs of the deaf, sign language, vocational training and income educating activities. The organisation advocates to see that the deaf are not discriminated, are integrated and have equal chances in the society of Uganda. Our foundation organises fundraising activities and connects the school to an international network, raising awareness for the situation of deaf children in Uganda.

The foudation is now situated in Wageningen, the Netherlands, and consists of a board of six.

The New Hope School for the Deaf is not subsidized and therefore dependent on donations. We could use your support!
