Studio MAPA Nederland is a multifunctional art and theater laboratory for national and international theater makers, young talents and pedagogues.

Geschiedenis

Studio MAPA Netherland is the theater laboratory of MAPA, the Moving Academy for Performing Arts for national and international theater makers, young talents and pedagogues to develop as a multidisciplinary artist and theater educator. A home location to share all the experience and techniques developed by MAPA.

After twenty years of being active in Central Eastern Europe, MAPA now has built in 2014 and 2015 a permanent studio in Haarlem. We are very grateful for our colleagues and friends who generously supported MAPA to create a theater laboratory space! All the donators who helped financially via Voordekunst and everyone who spent hours and hours in the space from the first dirty construction day till the very last hours finishing painting and cleaning. Without their help it could not happen! The great example of teamwork filled the space with good energy, dedication and passion.
