The Student Project Team (SPT) fulfils an operational role within the UM central management. It creates a bridge between UM and its students.
Established on September 1st, 2013, the Maastricht University Student Project Team (SPT) fulfils an operational role within the Maastricht University (UM) central management. The mission of the SPT is to assist the UM in its mission to become a truly student-centered research university. They will create a bridge between the UM and their students by implementing student-related projects and providing feedback from a student perspective to the UM management. Through this, they intent to get the student population more involved in general UM-related matters and to make the UM services better tailored to their students wishes.
The SPT is currently composed of four students who put their studies aside for one year to work together with various groups at the UM. The focus of the SPT is on the UM as a whole, so being part of a specific faculty or study program does not matter if you are interested in SPT activities!
If you wish to come by our office please send us an email ([email protected]) or call us (043-3884892). Since we have a flexible schedule and due to the nature of the projects we work on we are not always at the office at set times, so making an appointment is the best way to get into contact with us.
