KUNDALINI YOGA as taught by Yogi Bhajan- is the Yoga of Awareness. It can be easily integrated into a busy life, and it is one of the most powerful styles of yoga. Focusing on the chakras, it is fast and effective at channeling creativity, increasing intuition, and awakening your full potential. The Kriyas help you to become physically, emotionally and mentally strong by developing a balanced nervous system and a healthy glandular and immune system.

MEDITATION in Kundalini Yoga is like taking a mental shower. It contains specific, practical tools that carefully and precisely support the mind and guide the body through the use of breath, mantra, mudra, and focus. The range and variety of meditation techniques in the Kundalini Yoga tradition is extraordinary. Yogi Bhajan passed on hundreds of meditations tailored to specific applications. There are meditations that reduce stress, work on addictions, increase vitality, and clear chakras, to name a few. While there exist many, many styles and approaches to meditation, what sets this approach to meditation apart is its precision, effectiveness, and practicality.

Kundalini Yoga is accessible to everyone regardless of age, physical fitness or experience. All classes are suitable for beginners to more advanced practitioners.

After living abroad for 7 years and teaching in Sydney, Australia, she’s happy to share the teachings from Yogi Bhajan in Amsterdam.

Hanneke could have never imagined having such a life changing experience thanks to Kundalini Yoga.
The Netherlands is the country where she’s born and she has practiced different styles of yoga and meditation for many years.
For three years she has lived with her husband and three kids in Thailand before she moved to Australia where she experienced her first Kundalini Yoga class. The combination of postures, mantras and meditation resonated with her straight away. It helped her to settle in a new country, to create more awareness, to have trust and faith.
To keep the balance between job-house-family she can’t live without her daily practice of Kundalini Yoga and meditation. She feels healthier, younger, balanced, energized, stronger, happier and more focused now than ever. It has changed her life and the ones around her in such a positive way so she wants to share, teach and elevate others.

When she moved back to The Netherlands in July 2015, she discovered that Kundalini Yoga has been around in Amsterdam since ’70… Sometimes you have to leave and come back to find what you’ve been looking for.
