IHE Delft Institute for Water Education is the largest graduate water education and research facility in the world. IHE Delft confers accredited MSc degrees and promotes PhDs. Since 1957 the Institute has provided graduate education to more than 14,500 water professionals from 162 countries, the vast majority from the developing world. More than 100 PhD candidates were promoted, and numerous research and capacity building projects were carried out throughout the world.

The Institute envisions a world free of poverty and injustice, in which people manage their water and environmental resources sustainably and equitably.

IHE Delft works in partnership to strengthen capacity in the water sector to achieve global sustainable development.
