When multiple projectors are used to project a seamless image on an irregular surface, the projected image for each projector has to be manipulated in order to produce one seamless projected image.
Geometrical correction (Warping): is a process of manipulating the pixel positions of the original projected image to make the projected image look right and geometrically correct when the image is projected on an irregular (curved) projection screen. The horizontal and vertical projected features and lines will follow the contours of the projection screen.
Soft-edge blending: is a process of digitally manipulating the overlapping parts of the projected images so that the total combined projection looks like one continuous image.
