Movie W is the alternative arthouse cinema of Wageningen since 1978. It is fully run by volunteers and is located behind 't Venster' at Wilhelminaweg 3A. Movie W offers 72 luxurious chairs with ample leg room as well as Dolby Digital Surround Sound, making it one of the most modern arthouse theatres in the Netherlands.
The Movie W season runs from September till July. Each January Movie W organises a special film weekend, called the Movie Weekend.
The movies shown at Movie W come from around the globe. At our website, www.movie-w.nl, you will find our program along with other information, e.g. which language is spoken and what subtitling language is used.
Movies usually start at 20:30, unless there is a special program. This will then be mentioned at our website.
