ECE Students is a student-run association, contributing to the entrepreneurial ecosystem on the campus of the Erasmus University Rotterdam.

Geschiedenis

Entrepreneurship is the driving force behind innovation, competition and economic growth. The Netherlands is uniquely positioned to develop into a leading knowledge-driven economy, which requires our workforce to adopt an entrepreneurial and creative approach. Dutch Universities face the challenge of preparing and stimulating students to use their knowledge and skills in an entrepreneurial and creative way.

The Erasmus Centre for Entrepreneurship (ECE) is a University Expertise Centre that stimulates entrepreneurial behaviour and fosters innovative entrepreneurship. As an initiative of the Rotterdam School of Management (RSM) and the Erasmus School of Economics (ESE), the goal of the ECE is to inspire, educate and support tomorrow its leading entrepreneurs. Together with two professors, over twenty researchers and a high skilled operational team making up the ECE, this brand new student association will help to contribute to work with passionate and ambitious people on providing a high quality infrastructure to foster entrepreneurship with regard to the organization of unique events.
