Geschiedenis

Designday showcases independent and accessible design in which common sense and originality converge. Design that can also be appreciated by subsequent generations for its beauty and practicality. Thanks to chosen participants and a fixed team of creative freelance entrepreneurs, Designday has developed into a unique event in the southern Netherlands where design-lovers from the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany are represented. Only those designers who create and produce their own creations are invited to attend. Visitors don’t only come to look at the design and buy it, but also because of the opportunity to speak with the person who created the design. The interesting supporting program provides an opportunity to learn more about design and the production process.
