Geschiedenis

The Zen River Cookbook is a reflection of more than twenty five years of cooking vegetarian and vegan meals. Well-tested by demanding eaters, the recipes actually often don’t even taste ‘vegetarian’ in the usual sense. Because of smart combinations of ingredients, herbs and spices, these recipes not only make for healthy, well-balanced meals, but also for complete satisfaction of taste, with inspiration drawn from a very international cuisine.

All these recipes are served daily at Zen River temple during the regular training days and for oryoki meals during sesshin.

The collection of recipes reflects a fusion of Zen-style cooking, known as Shojin Ryori, with East-meets-West, including short stories pertaining to the authors twenty nine years in practice.

Wat een fantastische plaats om tot rust te komen. We hebben alle sessies meegemaakt in de wonderlijke wereld van het Zen Boeddhisme.
Ik vond het niet interessand
Zen Boeddhisme. Wie daarvan weet of wil weten komt vanzelf uit in Uithuizen, Groningen. Google op zenriver.nl, schrijf in en... ervaar.
Op een zondagmiddag naar een ceremonie geweest. Werden vriendelijk ontvangen. Na de indrukwekkende ceremonie kregen we een rondleiding. Daarna het fantastische kookboek gekocht. Zowel de tempel als kookboek een aanrader.
Ben voornemens hier tijdelijk een intrek te nemen om me dagelijks gezamenlijk te wijden aan spirituéél werk!!! 06 202 565 48
