Faculty of Mechanical, Maritime and Materials Engineering (3mE) - Groundbreaking research and contemporary education
Faculty of Mechanical, Maritime and Materials Engineering (3mE)
Minimally invasive surgery, off-shore dredging, automated driving; they are all based in mechanical engineering. In fact, in today's world nothing moves without it. The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering has joined forces with Maritime and Materials Engineering. Jointly, experts in these three disciplines conduct applied and fundamental research on a range of subjects, including sustainable energy, robotic solutions, transport, logistics, security and healthcare. The faculty houses some first-rate teaching and research facilities such as a robotics lab, a towing tank, a medical lab and a process technology lab.
The faculty offers three bachelor's degree programmes: Mechanical Engineering, Maritime Engineering and Clinical Technology
In addition, the faculty also offers seven master's programmes: Biomedical Engineering, Offshore & Dredging Engineering, Technical Medicine, Materials Science & Engineering, Systems & Control, Marine Technology, Mechanical Engineering
