We started making and brewing teas made from the coca leaf in early 2011 for the public sale in the Caracas Central Farmers Market in Quinta Crespo.
We developed the Triple Coca Tea product in response to a demand for a high-energy drink that is natural, cold and refreshing. Triple Coca Tea is prepared using natural dried, shredded coca leaves from Peru, Bolivia and/or Ecuador, raw unprocessed cane sugar and lemon juice and/or citric acid (vitamin C). Our Triple Coca Tea is prepared using the pressurized vessel method and is macerated at 3x the strength as is regular 'hot' coca tea prepared using tea bags.
