Our amateur Company of Fools consists of actors and creatives "ambitious for a motley coat" in any shape or form, and Shakespeare is our Rule.

The Fool's Men is a brand-new, semi-professional theatre group that intends to put on stage as many of William Shakespeare's plays as possible, with the particular guideline of being true to the traditional Elizabethan stagings of the works; Or In other words,

"It's a Fourth Wall break within a Fourth Wall break. That's like, 16 walls." ~ Deadpool, 2016

This Company of Fools, founded by (aspiring) Shakespeare scholar Coco Clements, produces not only an interactive event with every production, but offers an easy-to-understand, enjoyable-to-watch, and intensely researched revival of the old plays in the hope to not only get new generations interested in the Bard's amazing writing, but to make the texts come fully alive as they were intended to be enjoyed.

Our first production is, as is appropriate, one of Shakespeare's own first plays, TITUS ANDRONICUS. This bloodiest of Revenge plays is often skipped past in academics as well as in the theatre, which we be believe is an absolute shame. With the extra-ordinary addition of a FIVE-COURSE MEAL to this 5-act-play, we intend to ingulf our spectators within the dangerous city-bounds of Shakespeare's ancient Rome, the amazing Elizabethan theatre practices itself and of course, a delicious Renaissance dinner in style!
