Stichting4Life was founded in 2003. The foundation helps children and their mothers in Kibera, Nairobi: the largest slum in Africa.
Stichting4Life offers development aid "new style". School projects for children are financed through business initiatives. And local Kenyan products which are produced by (single) mothers, are sold on the European market as an income generating activity.The projects are succesfull, sustainable and growing each year. In 2013 about 1.400 children and parents will benefit from the projects through schooling, jobs, micro credits and help for orphans. Stichting4Life wants to be 100% transparent and inform sponsors and volunteers to the max. This Facebook page describes the day-to-day work and issues, both in Kenya and the Netherlands.
