Geschiedenis

Located in the northwest of the Netherlands, Sneeboer manufacturing is famous for the highest quality Dutch garden tools available. These tools are enjoyed by avid gardeners in more than twenty countries around the world.

Third generation Sneeboer family members Jaap and Wilma Peelen manage the company today (with 4th generation waiting in the wings) with the same philosophy their granddad started in 1913 – “if you produce a tool, make sure it’s a good one”

Old school hand forging is still the heart of every Sneeboer tool, but the challenge to improve and develop innovative products is never ending. Each tool is individually hand shaped, sharpened and polished with a superb eye for detail. With an eye on our future, Sneeboer is using “Green” practices by fitting all their tools with FSC Certified hardwood handles.
