Welcome to Rivers. Perhaps The Netherlands and Arnhem are completely new to you and you are busy unpacking boxes and settling in. It can be quite bewildering at first. We sincerely hope you enjoy your time here and can be reassured that your children will feel safe and happy in school with us.
We aim to support all new families as they arrive through the year; our strong body of parents are there to help as much as they can. The teachers (some of whom are also new to the Netherlands) are available to talk with you at the end of the day to cover any concerns. We are proud of our diversity, with close to 45 nationalities and many languages represented.
We seek to create a broad range of opportunities for our children, whatever their background, to integrate and interact with each other. Our ethos of a harmonious multinational, multiethnic community learning to live and learn together is something we all value.
Our school continues to grow, but we remain a small school providing high quality international education for the international community in and around Arnhem. We are proud of being able to offer that personal touch, a welcoming friendliness a small school can offer.
