Geschiedenis

Treehouse beheerd zo’n 30 container ateliers waar muzikanten , beeldende kunstenaars en theatermakers hun werk kunnen ontwikkelen.
De container-ateliers zijn goed geschikt voor makers die weinig ruimte nodig hebben. Deze containers kunnen tot atelier, oefenruimte of studio gemaakt worden. Iedereen kan zijn of haar container inrichten zoals ze dat zelf willen.
Treehouse stelt op werkplaats niveau alle facaliteiten beschikbaar en helpt waar kan.
Treehouse voorziet in gemeentschappelijke ruimtes waar huurders elkaar kunnen ontmoeten. Treehouse vind het belangrijk dat mensen met elkaar in contact komen , netwerken , van elkaar kunnen leren en misschien zelfs uiteindelijk samen een project kunnen starten. Ook streeft het naar gezamelijke productiefacaliteiten voor gebruikers van Treehouse.

artist in Residence (AIR)
Binnen dit programma krijgen binnenlandse en buitenlandse kunstenaars een beperkte tijd een container ter beschikking om een tijdelijk project uit te werken. Dit word afgesloten met een expositie waarbij ze hun werk aan het publiek tentoon kunnen stellen.

The container-ateliers are a good place for artist that dont need a lot of space. These containers can be made into a studio, atelier or practice room. Everybody can fill in their container the way they like it.
At Threehouse we try to provide in all the facilities and help where ever is possible.
Threehouse also provides in communal spaces where the people that rent the container-ateliers can meet eachother.
Its important to us that people connect , network learn from eachother and maby even start up a project together.

Artist in residence (AIR)
Within this project foreign and local artist can get a container atelier to work in, to make a temprorary project. When the finish their project with an exposition where they show their work to the public.
