Max Brown is situated in three monumental Amsterdam canal houses with an amazing 300-year old facade, at the corner of Amsterdam most famous canals, the Herengracht & the Brouwersgracht. You’re in Hipsterdam the moment you check-in when you pick up your key from the guy or girl behind the impressive bar. You can choose to go straight up to your cosy room or to take a seat at the living room bar. Or at one of the comfy tables, chairs and sofa to gather around with a drink and some delicious bar bites. Our staff is more than willing, perhaps near-obsessive (we call it passionate), to tell you where you can buy the most addictive cupcakes of your life, how to get to that small undiscovered restaurant or where to go when the sun goes down. You will notice you happen to be tuned in to the Amsterdam local life. But perhaps you also need some ‘me’ time and it happens to be that Max Brown also has super cosy guest rooms. The rooms come in five varieties and sizes, 34 in total. All rooms are stocked with the essentials you need like the most comfy bed, a flat screen tv, free WIFI and a private bathroom. We consider ourselves as a huge fan of the ‘what’s old is new again’ principal which you will immediately notice in the design style and novel details. Walking into a Max Brown room is like walking into the place of that designer friend of yours.
