The music of the trio is a peculiar combination of traditional and modern jazz. Their compositions and arrangements vary from explosive polyrhythmic pieces to introspective ballads, achieving a wide range of sonorities through dynamics and instrumentation

Geschiedenis

Born in the environment of Rotterdam’s Conservatory at the beginning of 2016, in only one year of activity the band performed in historic venues such as Jazz Cafè Dizzy (Rotterdam), as well as concert halls and theaters like De Doelen, the Maas Theater (Rotterdam) and the Stadsgehoorzaal (Leiden). In addition to that, the band performed at the prestigious North Sea Jazz Festival 2017, one of the most famous jazz festivals in Europe and in the whole world.
In March 2017 the trio reached one of its most important achievement: the 1st prize at the Leiden Boonekamp Jazz Award 2017, a competition that saw them competing and winning against the best bands coming out of The Netherland’s conservatories.
The prize brought a gust of enthusiasm that pushed the trio to work on a recording of their original compositions that will be available on the main digital music distribution platform in 2018.
The release of their first EP will be followed by a European tour during the Summer.
