Koopman Racing is the foremost BMW racecar, M and Wiesmann specialist in The Netherlands.

From the start Koopman Racing has specialized in BMW, but not because we have no experience with or have any aversion towards other brands. As a matter of fact staff and mechanics at Koopman Racing have long-time experience in the commercial and motorsport departments of carbrands as diverse as Donkervoort, Audi, Porsche, AMG, SEAT, Maybach and yes, BMW Motorsport. Founder Hein Koopman even started out in aviation technology at Dutch aircraft builder Fokker.

What we all have in common is that we are passionate about racing and got our training in highly structured and perfectionist organizations, where quality and detail are held in the highest regard. We follow that same philosophy in everything we do at Koopman Racing.

We believe that with technology getting ever more complex, it's only possible to guarantee the highest quality by using a high degree of specialization, which is why we only work on BMW 6 and 8-cylinder and M street models and BMW Racecars. We like BMW so much because of 3 main factors: RWD, reliability and affordability. We build and run cars ranging from € 5.000 trackday starters up to € 500.000 WTC and GTR specials and take exactly the same pride in all types of BMW we work on. Working on trackday cars helps us remember how we started out when we were young (a long time ago, sigh ;-) ) and makes sure we don't forget the fun that racing is really supposed to be all about.

Where most BMW main dealerships in the Netherlands get to service maybe 20 M-cars annually, we work on a daily basis with these cars, making us among the experts in the field. Our workshops are located in the small town of Winkel, about 40 minutes north of Amsterdam and if you are a BMW or racing afficionado in general, we always welcome you to drop by and have a coffee with us and share some stories on your car or motorsport activities. It might also be a good way of checking out if you share our vision of doing things and maybe even want to consider letting us take care of your BMW.
We have very reasonable rates for maintenance, parts, tracksupport, garaging and transport with our main labor rate far below regular dealership rates. We only use original BMW parts and equipment. We also ship custom made BMW parts all over the world.

We also specialize in LSD rebuilds and affordable VANOS and SMG repairs.
