Jelle Mollema graduated from the Fotoacademie in Rotterdam in 2013. During his study he became the photographer of Schorem Haarsnijder en Barbier in Rotterdam. As graduation project Mollema published a book made with photo’s taken at the barbershop and the places they go. His works focus on people who are part of diverse subcultures. He is mainly interested in their stories, extraordinary lives and the margins of society.
