Geschiedenis

The Graduate School of Life Sciences (GSLS) offers 13 Master's and 14 PhD programmes at Utrecht University. The GSLS brings together Master’s programmes in microorganisms, plants,
animals, humans, the molecules of life, and the study of health and disease.

Our programmes combine theory with practical training, ensuring a consistently high standard of training for all our students. The GSLS has links with renowned research institutes in Utrecht, which combine expertise in biology, chemistry, and pharmaceutical sciences with research in the medical and veterinary sciences. This multidisciplinary approach is unique in the Netherlands and has gained international renown for research in biomedical and life sciences.
