The Dutch ruler William the 3rd, better know as William of Orange was coronated in Westminster Abbey as the new king of England, Scotland and Ireland.
One of his first actions was to make Gin, which originated from Holland, popular with the British population. Everyone can distill by simple posting a notice in public and just waiting 10 days.
Soon the volumes of Gin overtook that of Beer and Ale!
Now, over 3 centuries later, Gin 1689 brings back the 350 year old Gin when it all started
