Florensis Cut Flowers
Europe's largest young plant supplier of cut flowers, produced from seed.
Background
Florensis Cut Flowers in Rijsenhout, the Netherlands emerged in 2009 when Florensis acquired Ball Holland. The pot and bedding plant activities moved to Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht (The Netherlands), and Florensis Cut Flowers was launched in Rijsenhout where it specialises in the cultivation of generatively propagated young plants for cut flower production.
In 2001, the cut flower activities also moved from Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht to Rijsenhout, which then made Florensis Cut Flowers Europe’s largest young plant supplier of cut flowers, produced from seed.
How we operate
Since 2009, a commitment to improving the quality of our products has led to investments in supplemental lighting and in grading and selection machinery for young plants.
Once again, these efforts apply to what applies to all Florensis products: we want to supply our customers with the very best products. In addition to investing ourselves, we therefore also work with a large number of highly reputable suppliers and other breeders in the area of breeding and selection in order to achieve our goal.
