Justice and Peace Netherlands works to protect human rights defenders and strengthen local solidarity with refugees. Worldwide and in The Netherlands.

Geschiedenis
All over the world there are peaceful change makers who belief in equality, freedom of thought and expression, the rights of refugees or a healthy environment. They’re helping others or demanding change on the local level.
These peaceful change makers are called rebels, activists, heroes, troublemakers, dissidents, free spirits, idealists, radicals, eccentrics, revolutionaries, rioters, sometimes even traitors or enemies of the state.

We call them human rights defenders. We are all human rights defenders!
