Geschiedenis Ilpendam is a village in the Dutch province of North Holland. He was Mayor of Amsterdam, Lord of Purmerland and Ilpendam and Lord of Ilpenstein castle.Ilpendam was a separate municipality until 1991.In 2001, the village of Ilpendam had 1613 inhabitants. The built-up area of the village was 0.27 km², and contained 633 residences.
