Info SPARK develops higher education and entrepreneurship to empower young, ambitious people to lead their fragile, conflict affected societies into prosperity. Geschiedenis SPARK provides higher education scholarships for refugees in the MENA region, and supports entrepreneurship development in fragile or post-conflict countries around the world. We believe that the key to alleviating poverty and maintaining stability is sustainable economic growth. Therefore, by educating young people and creating jobs, people can improve their socioeconomic position, the local economy benefits and the potential for conflict or radicalisation is reduced. We pay special attention to marginalised groups, including young people, women and refugees, and we work closely with local partners to equip these populations with the knowledge, tools and motivation to lead their conflict affected societies into prosperity. Onze taak SPARK develops higher education and entrepreneurship to empower young, ambitious people to lead their fragile, conflict affected societies into prosperity. SPARK is determined to increase the number of educational and sustainable job opportunities and economic prospects for people in these societies, through development of higher education and the local private sector. Producten SPARK Solutions & Services have been developed to achieve our goals. These contain higher education and private sector development approaches with conflict sensitivity dimensions that can be realized for, or in cooperation with, clients and (local) partners. Potential entrepreneurs, startups and small businesses each require specific support services and solutions to successfully develop, start or expand their business. SPARK Solutions focus on developing Business Startup Centres, Startup Finance, Scholarships and Faculty Enrichment. SPARK Services contain a wide variety of trainings for entrepreneurs and local partners, curriculum development for schools and universities, organising a youth academy for entrepreneurs, setting up business plan competitions and more."Developing higher education and entrepreneurship in fragile and conflict-affected regions."
