Geschiedenis
Hortis Legal is a legal consultancy in the area of intellectual property law. Originally (in the mid-nineties) started as the first plant breeders' rights agency in the Netherlands, it has since been expanded into an international full service consultancy specialised in trademarks, patents, I-depots, general legal advice, breeders' rights and licence services.

The Hortis Legal Team consists of a mix of lawyers and experts from diverse backgrounds. It is precisely this diversity that keeps us creative and alert. Our strength is characterised by the professionalism, expertise, involvement, and enthusiasm of our advisers.

Hortis Legal has international offices in the United States, Costa Rica and Japan (mainly breeders' rights oriented) and has a wide network of international clients and trademark agents over the whole world.
