Why Changing Tides?
I believe in empowering people to enable them to take their future into their own hands. I believe non profit organisations play a crucial role in serving societies in becoming participatory sustainable democracies. I believe non profit organisations can only play their role if they are impeccably professional on organisational and financial management level as well. I believe, therefore, in professionalising the performance of non profit leadership, staff and members.

How do I work?
I am always fully focused on facilitating learning: on transferring knowledge, skills and courage to experiment; and on actively engaging the people and organisations I work with.

I like to use creative tools to help learn new things and help build teams and communities.

Due to the fact that I operate mostly cross-border, I am well-versed on online tools for communication and collaboration and use English fluently.

What can I do for you?
I can offer you participatory, active and creative training workshops, coaching, and advice on organisational and financial management issues of your non profit organisation. I can also facilitate collaborative meetings. I work with a smile.

And, ehm, have I done that before?
Over the last decades I have worked with non-governmental organizations in many different countries, among which Albania, Bangladesh, Belarus, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, Iraq, Kosova, Moldova, Tunisia, Ukraine and Zambia.

I have worked with many different types of non profit organisations, in oppressive states, sensitive situations and (post-)conflict environments.

Because of the sensitivity of the work I do, and the risks some of the people I work with run, I cannot always publicise what I do precisely. But feel free to ask me anything. I will always answer where I can. "I work with nonprofit teams and leaders to professionalise their operational back-end. I support nonprofits with all the things most people find boring, confusing or scary or all at once.I provide online courses and workshops that are available on demand, but also tailor-made capacity building processes or facilitation of exchange events.I serve a few nonprofits one-to-one, as interim controller for instance."
