Geschiedenis
This page is dedicated to Westerpark in Amsterdam which is one of the largest park of the city after Vondelpark and Rembrandtpark. 
This green area is located on the West side of the city straight after the Haarlemmerstraat/Haarlemmerdijk, and is pretty famous for its amazing cultural and social activities. 
- Restaurants (Raïnaraï, Proef), 
- Cafés/bars (Pacific park, WestergasTerrass, MC Theater, Espressofabriek, Bakkerswinkel), 
- Cinema (Het Ketelhuis), 
- Dancing floor (Pacific park, FlexBar, Northsea Jazz Club), 
- Art galleries, 
- Food markets (Neighborfood market, Rollende Keuken) and markets (Sunday market) 
- Festivals (Pitch, Milkshake, Awakenings etc), you can find it all in Westerpark the whole year long.  
And if you fancy something more natural, you could just take your picnic or your portable barbecue to the green fields and enjoy to relax or play games with some friends under the sun!
