Fabula Vestimenta is a one-person company for sustainable romantic fashion. Inspirations come from fairy-tales, history, movies and from nature itself.

Geschiedenis
Fabula Vestimenta, formerly known as Faerytale Fashion, is a small company (sole-saler) run by Natasja Dymphina van der Pluim. She designs and fabricates every item herself, incorporating old materials and nature finds in het designs. This does not mean that the entire design is made from old materials, with some exceptions. New fabrics will form the solid basis. But the older materials and nature-finds contain way more character and will bring exclusivity to every single design.

Faerytale Fashion started as a brand for Gothic and Fantasy garments in 2004. A few years later I expanded my activities unto the field of re-enactment. In 2008 Faerytale Fashion went dorment for a few years due to the fact that I started a study at Erasmus University Rotterdam, which continuated in a master at he University of Antwerp.

Now (2017) Fabula Vestimenta will make a restart, rising from the ashes, but with a new perspective: romantic and historical inspired clothing, containing old materials and/or nature finds. Like the brand, the designs a like a phoenix, rising from the ashes to a renwed glory.

A shop on Etsy will follow very soon. Special orders will be granted, but due to much work, I will work with a solid waiting-list.
