Geschiedenis
Berben Design, formerly known as Brandhout, was founded in 2014. What began as the construction of one simple table, soon turned into an outburst of many more ideas and creations. Each item is carefully crafted by hand and treated with all the needed attention and respect for the material, to ensure each piece is outstanding.

Our workshop is based in Tilburg, one of the most cultural cities in The Netherlands. Inside an old warehouse, we built our own atelier where all of our products are being created. You’re always welcome to have a look around!

Berben Design is expanding as we speak. Not only as a company, but most of all in a creative way. More and more designs are added to our catalogue. We try to offer a great variety of products and options, but all within the same mindset: solid, robust and one-of-a-kind.

Rogier Berben is the founder and maker of Berben Design. In 2012 he graduated from the Rockacademie in Tilburg (NL) as an all-round drummer/session musician. Since then, he has been playing with several rock, metal and blues bands and toured all over Europe. In 2014 Rogier started Berben Design out of his love for drums and furniture. His longings for new creations and perfection make Berben Design the unique brand that it is today."Berben is all about handcrafted clocks, lamps and tables.
