Info Games for Health Europe is the leading community in the field of health games, bringing together the best minds in game development and health. Geschiedenis The 8th Games for Health Europe conference will be on 8 & 9 October 2018 Games for Health Europe supports community, knowledge and business development efforts to use cutting-edge games and game technologies to improve health and health care. We aim to bring applied gaming and healthcare together in order to contribute to more advanced healthcare across the globe. Games for Health Europe brings together researchers, medical professionals and game developers to share information about the impact games and game technologies can have on health, health care and policy. A major effort of the Games for Health Europe is the annual Games for Health Europe Conference. Over three days, more than 400 attendees participate in over 60 sessions provided by an international array of 60+ speakers, cutting across a wide range of activities in health and health care. Past conferences: First conference: 24 & 25 October 2011 Second conference: 5 & 6 November 2012 Third conference: 28 & 29 October 2013 Forth conference: 27 & 28 October 2014 Fifth conference: 1 & 2 November 2015 Sixth conference: 31 October & 1 November 2016 Seventh conference: 2 October & 3 October 2017 Topics include exergaming, physical therapy, disease management, health behavior change, biofeedback, rehab, epidemiology, training, cognitive health, nutrition and health education.
