Wapenfeiten! PinksterZaan biedt op Tweede Pinksterdag (25 mei) een dag vol historische belevenissen. PinksterZaan blaast ook dit jaar nieuw leven in de Zaanse geschiedenis. De Zaanstreek viert die feestdagen al sinds 1574. Waarom? Toen versloegen we de Spanjaarden tijdens de Tachtigjarige Oorlog. "Welcome to the Zaanse Schans, the Dutch windmill village that offers you a chance to step back in time and experience traditional Dutch culture. Located just north of Amsterdam, the village is home to historic windmills and traditional wooden houses that have been carefully preserved for future generations to enjoy.
