Geschiedenis
Acrylic one is a water based resin system. The material does not contain any solvents. The thing that makes Acrylic One unique is the natural look which can be achieved. There are many materials which can be reproduced without any problem with Acrylic One. 
You can think about: sandstone slate, concrete or wood. The material can be pigmented or structured, just by adding pigments.

Acrylic One can be processed among many circumstances. Because it is a synthetic material it has a unlimited freedom in form. Even new kinds of stones and looks can be realised.

Acrylic One is also a durable material. Investigation by TNO Industries has shows a long life span of Acrylic One. We expect that a 50 years durability in case of outdoor application in Western-Europe is possible, when using a proper coating.
Lightweight but strong enough

This almost unlimited freedom in form is just one advantage of Acrylic One. Because with its low weight the material is also applicable in situations in which no heavy materials can be used. A construction of only some millimetres is sometimes enough to give a form the preferred strength and looks. Imagine yourself the freedom of choice in design and building. The weight is no impediment anymore to give you a cover with a marble, metal or wooden look, because Acrylic One hardly has any weight. One can even apply sandwich constructions, for example with polystyrene foam or plaster panels.
Safe at fire

You are right thinking about fire prevention in case of the use of synthetic material, but Acrylic One is different. The material can be used, without any problems in situations with the highest fire measurement precautions. Acrylic One has been tested according to all European norms and guidelines. Conclusion: it satisfies to B S1 d0. Also in safe passage spaces the material can be used in most of the cases, because there is no smoke development or even dripping of the material.
Genuine looks

The protective coating which can be used as a finishing touch gives the possibility to a variety of looks. By means of this coating one can choose a variety in gloss gradations. It is also possible to achieve a real metal look with Acrylic One. Panels with a real copper, bronze, steel colour and even oxidising colour can be achieved.
