Project MARCH is a student team of the Delft University of Technology aimed at designing and building an exoskeleton to give paraplegics back full mobility.

Geschiedenis
Project MARCH is the student team of the Delft University of Technology, that is designing and building an exoskeleton: the MARCH. By means of the MARCH the boundary will be shifted with regard to the freedom of movement of exoskeletons.

With an exoskeleton paraplegics will be able to walk on uneven terrain even as to climb the stairs at home. Overcoming obstacles in daily life, that are not executable by using a wheelchair, will become possible again.

Often the users are 'being walked' by the exoskeleton as a passenger. By giving the user the right control over the exoskeleton, Project MARCH makes sure the user really walks in the exoskeleton himself. By making smart use of sensors the user will be able to walk with the MARCH intuitively, despite the lack of sense in the legs. Besides, the information of the sensors makes sure the exoskeleton will be more stable.
