Welcome to my Facebook page!

My name is Marit and I am from the Netherlands. I love to follow my heart while painting, instead of working towards a preconceived result. It teaches me to be centered and experience deep, meaningful reflection while being in the here and now, following my own intuition.

Because of this I chose the Buddhist term ‘Yana’ for my art, which stands for motion and path of spiritual growth.
Many of my works are for sale and I share my techniques and vision in my Workshops.
For every workshop and painting sold, I adopt a little piece of rainforest in Costa Rica to prevent it from being cut down.
