In 2004 we bought this beautiful holiday home in Friesland. Clad with a thatched roof, this villa is the ultimate place for relaxation. The stand alone villa is spacious, furnished with finest furniture and superbly maintained. It has 3 bedrooms and sleeps 6 people very comfortably. There is private garage parking.
It has a secluded terrace at the back, and a wind sheltered terrace on the side and it sits in its own miniature dune setting.
From the sitting room you can see across the edge of the lake towards the Workumse Bocht / Hindelopen, and from upstairs you can see the nearby Makkumer beach ideal for windsurfing & kite surfing*.
It only takes a few minutes to reach the IJsselmeer beach, where you can swim and surf and sail.
There are many facilities inside the resort and there are many touristic attractions to enjoy.
