Le but du projet ARDYIS (Agriculture, développement rural et jeunesse dans la société de l'information) est de sensibiliser les jeunes et de renforcer leurs capacités sur les enjeux du développement rural et agricole dans les pays ACP à travers les Technologies de l'Information et de la communication. Ses activités comprennent un concours de rédaction, un atelier d'échange et de formation sur le web 2.0, l'animation d'un portail d'information, la facilitation du réseautage entre les participants au projet, la participation à des conférences internationales pour les meilleurs participants. Les activités d’ARDYIS contribueront à la promotion des opportunités pour les jeunes des pays ACP dans les secteurs du développement agricole et rural et des TIC.

ENGLISH

The purpose of the "Agriculture, Rural Development and Youth in the Information Society" (ARDYIS) project is to raise youth awareness and improve their capacity on agricultural and rural development issues in ACP countries through ICTs. The initiative has been put in place by the the Technical Centre for Agricultural and Rural Cooperation (CTA), an ACP-EU institution working in the field of information for development. The Advisory Committee of the project is composed of: FARA, Yam-Pukri, CAFAN, AYF, ANAFE, PAFPNET. ARDYIS activities will contribute to the promotion of opportunities for youth in ACP countries in the agricultural, rural development and ICT sectors.

Onze taak

ARDYIS initial activities include an essay contest, a web 2.0 training, animation of an information portal, facilitation of networking among project participants, participation in conferences for best participants. More than a project, ARDYIS is a framework of actions and will contribute to the promotion of opportunities for youth in ACP countries in the agricultural, rural development and ICT sectors.
