Bruinisse is a town in the Dutch province of Zeeland. It is a part of the municipality of Schouwen-Duiveland, and lies about 19 km south of Hellevoetsluis.In 2001, the town of Bruinisse had 3154 inhabitants. The built-up area of the town was 0.71 km², and contained 1248 residences. The statistical area "Bruinisse", which also can include the surrounding countryside, has a population of around 4500.
