Geschiedenis

Bental BV was established in April 2003. The company’s vision ( until 2010 in a joint venture with Carmexco BV) is, and was from day one , to be the growers sales and marketing arm in Holland and via Holland to the whole of northern Europe.
The link between the growers an Bental is a very strong one, giving each grower maximum sales effort and a lot of information about the market and the position of his/hers plants in the market. Growers knows many of the end clients and the company organise visits of customers and potential customers to the growing areas.

Bental bv has a warehouse and glasshouses in Rijsenhout, 10 minutes drive from Flora Holland Aalsmeer centre, and 5 minutes from Schiphol airport (see map).
The glasshouses are equipped with tables, irrigation and separate compartments with different temperature options to allow longer period of plant keeping.

The staff includes three sales people, a full operational team and administration team. The experienced staff ,all more than 10 years in the pot plants business (most of it in the Mediterranean plants section), can handle daily business, from separate shelves per products to full trollies, as well as big action orders.
Clock supply is also done according to the grower needs.

In 2014 Bental gives full service to 22 nurseries from Portugal, Spain, Italy , Greece and Israel with customers In Holland, Germany, Scandinavia, France and UK.

Bental is owned by Benben Nursery , Eran Tal (Israel) and Ernst Keessen (the Netherlands).
Benben nursery (Benzion Fold and Jacov ben Jacov) has 8 hectares of greenhouses in the southern Israeli village of Netiv Haasara growing mainly pot 12 sizes, Eran Tal is coming from research (Northern R&D project) moving to production. Ernst was an auctioneer in Aalsmeer and later responsible for an area of Italian growers before moving to be Bental’s senior salesman.
