In the 1950s Henk Banken started a company that produced fresh mushrooms. This was later joined by a trading company in mushrooms, vegetables and sprouts. Since then Banken Champignons has evolved into one of the major international trading companies in Europe in the mushroom sector.

Within Europe we are the trendsetters when it comes to developing healthy and delicious mushroom products for the convenience segment.
As well as its own production sites, Banken Champignons Group also has a group
of around 75 growers who cultivate exclusively for Banken Champignons. Only the best is good enough!
