Those who can’t imagine boyhood dreams come true would do well to take a look at Amsterdam-based record label Armada Music. Think a shared goal turned into a tidal wave of quality releases, from chart-breakers to mainstage fixtures. Think unbridled ambition fueling a wide variety of genres, from Trance and Deep House to Progressive House, Techno and even Pop. Founded in 2003 by Armin van Buuren, Maykel Piron and David Lewis (AR-MA-DA), Armada Music soon stood out from the crowd and went on to become an award-winning company. The main ingredient? Passion.
The moment you enter the Armada Music HQ in Amsterdam, you can sense a powerful mixture of devotion and genuine love for music. It shines through in every aspect of the record label, from its employees and artists to the positive vibes running through the office. It’s not just a proven formula. It’s what’s needed to function at top level. And Armada Music does just that.
From 2009 to 2013, the Amsterdam-based label was crowned ‘Best Global Dance Label’ five years in a row at the International Dance Music Awards in Miami. The label went on to expand across the entire electronic dance music spectrum, signing quality music no matter the genre. Now home to world-renowned acts and super talents such as Andrew Rayel, Armin van Buuren, Borgore, Dash Berlin, Erick Morillo, Fedde Le Grand, Gareth Emery, Julian Jordan, Kevin Saunderson, Lost Frequencies, Morgan Page, Showtek and W&W, Armada Music continuous to nurture its artists, helping them realize their full potential.
Supporting its status as leading record label, Armada Music has taken some of the industry’s biggest labels under its wing. In addition to its own label pillars (i.e. Armada Music, Armada Captivating, Armada Deep, Armada Electronic Elements, Armada Subjekt, Armada Trice, A State Of Trance and The Bearded Man), Armada Music represents imprints from renowned acts such as Armin van Buuren (Armind, A State Of Trance, Who’s Afraid Of 138?!), Borgore (Buygore), Erick Morillo (Subliminal Records), Fedde Le Grand (Darklight Recordings), Gareth Emery (Garuda), Julian Jordan (GOLDKID Records), Kevin Saunderson (KMS), Showtek (SKINK), W&W (Mainstage Music) and more, adding to a grand total of over thirty labels.
