Ancient History magazine is a paper periodical published every two months by Karwansaray Publishers and distributed globally. The magazine deals with the culture, society, and politics of the ancient world. It is aimed at a casual, but informed audience.

The magazine is edited by Sandra Alvarez. Each issue is devoted to a particular theme, such as ancient explorers, food in the ancient world, Athens in the fourth century BC, slaves and serfs, and more. In addition, each issue contains a number of non-theme-related articles.

Karwansaray Publishers also publishes three other magazines that may be of interest to you: Ancient Warfare, Medieval Warfare, and Wargames Soldiers & Strategy. Aside from the paper editions, digital versions of all of our magazines are also available for purchase.
